This bag is super cute and a great size to fit everything you need for the day. I have used DK cotton yarn from Yeoman Yarns in color charcoal, but you could use any yarn in a similar thickness to get a similar result.
The bag is knit in 2 pieces and the pattern uses stockinette knitting, with a ladder technique that creates the texture, and turn back hems at each end of the body. Additionally, I use magnets inside the turn back as a closure, but this is optional.
This pattern is written and has pictures to illustrate every step that may not be self explanatory.
Bag measures as follows when laying flat:
9 1/2" width
9 1/2" height
22" strap length
3" strap width
